Earlier we looked at the first category of people, namely Confidants. Those that are for you. They are those that will be keen and see your vision and stand by you. They will sacrifice all to see you succeed. We concluded that you pray that God gives you this person as they will be there for you to drink from, lean on and get strength from. The second category is:-

CONSTITUENTS: 

This is another category which you should be keen to identify because this is where we make mistakes most of the time. We confuse them for confidants. Watch this; this are those people who are not for you but are for what you stand for. The principles you stand for are what they stand for too. They are only moving in the same direction you are headed to. 

To them, you are just the means through which they will get to where they are going which happens to be the same place that you are headed to yourself. They bond with you since you have the same goals, vision and target. So far, they are with you because they haven’t met anyone else that can get them there faster. 

They can get close a lot and that is why we confuse them for

confidants and we start revealing our secrets to them. Not knowing that you are revealing your secrets to an opportunist and backstabber who will soon kiss you goodbye. 

They will not always be there for you, as soon as they get a faster or better means to where you are going, they will walk away and leave you broken. They are not very happy for you, though you may not notice but they will make you think so because you have what they need but woe unto you if they see another nicer ride, you will left broken and cursing thinking all people are evil. To know them, they are always concerned more about the dream than about you. If you notice one, don’t walk away because God is using them to move you to a certain level but be ready because any time, they might walk away. And if they did, thank God and move on.
