BOUNCING BACK WHEN YOU FALL

. . No comments:

Is it the humble beginnings that define you or the heroic finish? Many times I have heard the words, ’it is not where you are but who you are’, ‘not where you are now but whom God is making you’. Coming to think of it, it has more weight than you could imagine. It is not about how you started the race but how you finish.

It is not about how you start, but how you finish
If a marathon champion at the starting line took a few steps and fell down and after getting back on his feet he still falls down once again after a mile down the track. But when he got to the finishing line he is the best even breaking the world record, does it matter how he started? He cannot be disqualified on terms that he fell once or twice along the way. To make it even better, it becomes a great story of great achievement. Nobody wants to listen to a story of a smooth ride from the beginning to the end…

When you fall, you have a chance to shine yet again. The society has come up with ways to condemn us when we slip and fall. David says, the
righteous man may fall seven times, but he still shall rise up again. Don’t judge others when they trip, don’t see them as evil doers. Pray for them instead, encourage them; don’t be a reason they will give up. Just because God covered your mistakes does not mean you are better off. Judge not and you shall not be judged.

I know of a woman of God now who during her young days became expectant and bore a beautiful daughter before she was married. Normally, some of us would want to abort and save ourselves the reputation meltdown. It doesn’t matter how many times she received blames and fingers pointing at her but the best thing is that God used it to make her who she is today. From her own words, even her high school friends would not believe it when she received Jesus in her heart as her personal savior knowing who she was before. But Several years later, Rev. Kathy Kiuna (who is now the senior Pastor (JCC Parklands, Nairobi) is happily married to her loving husband Bishop Allan Kiuna (General overseer) Jubilee Christian Church. She runs a powerful ladies ministry by the name “Daughters of Zion” that is constantly transforming lives of thousands of women and girls in Kenya and soon to the rest of Africa.

Don’t let your shortcomings or wrong start distract you from the right path. God uses every situation to bring out the best in you. What you are going through is not about you but about others. Jesus told Peter, “…the devil wants to sift you as wheat, but I have prayed for that when thou art converted, comfort the brethren…”
Once God brings you through it, he will use that situation to comfort the others who shall come after you.

Kindly Share this with all your friends, lets spread the love.
