How to Write a Good Article-Part 2

. . No comments:

ü Do the Necessary Research
After knowing what you want to achieve then it’s time to know how to achieve it. Research on the topic. Do enough research on the audience to ensure what comes out in the end is what best meets the needs of that particular segment of the society.
ü Organize the Facts… Write the Article
After you’re done researching, look at the different notes you have collected. Decide on which ones to keep and which of those that you want to keep actually make sense.
Then write the article. You are a good writer. Every word counts. Remember that all the way. Most importantly, try your best to stay relevant.
ü  Proofread and Edit Your Work: Don’t Be Afraid of Cutting off Some Parts
So you wrote “ameliorate” to scare the reader and make a point? Now would be the time to change that into “improve”. It’s time to make “deleterious” “harmful” and “cognizant” “aware”. Correct all spelling mistakes and make sure your grammar doesn’t injure your credibility. Understand that there’re things autocorrect won’t “notice”. That’s why you have to proofread you work. Always.

You cannot be Elmore Leonard or Stephen King. There’s only one of each. But then you realize there’s Junot Diaz, Marjorie Agosin, Lynn Abbey, Michael Huffington, a long list of others and you, right? This goes for both novelists and short article writers. Make your readers fall in love with your writing in 2015 and beyond by writing high quality content that’s focused on the audience. A good article’s what makes you a good writer. Not campaign.
