George Muchai is said to have been accompanied by his two body guards and driver in the earlier in the morning were all shot around 3am.This sad incident happened at the Kenyatta Avenue and Uhuru Highway roundabout in Nairobi capital City. An anonymous witness said that the Mp had stopped to buy a newspaper when a masked man pulled up in a white Probox and hit the MP vehicle on the right side before firing four effective shots that killed them instantly.

Among the people who witnessed this cold blooded murder is his wife and child who were driving behind them in a different car. The Mp and his family were heading home from an event they had attended in Westlands before the unfortunate incident.

The gunman is suspected to be a hit man who was hired for the job and as soon as he was done, he reached out to pick a briefcase in the late MP’s car. The contents of the briefcase are unknown and the police are now working on the case.

The death brought all citizens to a sudden shock. Many giving condolences and their grief shocks about the sudden killing on different social platforms. This brought out the head of states sending his condolences to the family through his official Facebook fan page earlier in the day.

President Uhuru Kenyatta: I am deeply shocked and saddened by the killing, in cold blood, of Kabete Member of Parliament, Hon. George Muchai, his two bodyguards and driver early this morning.
A humble and diligent gentleman, the late Hon. Muchai was a true servant of the people and his death is a huge loss not only to his family and the people of Kabete Constituency who he served with dedication but to the entire nation.
Investigations are already underway and I expect thePolice to Muchai, his two bodyguards and driver are speedily apprehended and made to pay for their heinous act according to the law.Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of Hon. Muchai, his two bodyguards and driver at this time of great sorrow and grief.

Deputy President William Ruto: I am saddened by the killing of Hon George Muchai & his aides. I expect police to swiftly bring those responsible to justice. My condolences to family, friends and the people of Kabete.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga:I have received with shock and disbelief the news of the cold blooded murder of Kabete Member of Parliament Mr. George Muchai, his two bodyguards and driver early today in the Central Business District of Nairobi.
The shooting of the Legislator and his aides by unknown assailants is bizarre and beastly and a shock to the nation.
Mr. Muchai was a dedicated legislator and a gallant trade unionist who fearlessly fought for the rights and the welfare of the workers both at his mother trade union and COTU.
The people of Kabete, the legal fraternity and the country at large have lost a leader whose immense contribution to the building of our nation in the many caps he wore will greatly be missed.
On behalf of my family, the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD), the ODM party and on my own behalf, I wish the families of the late Mr. Muchai and his aides, relatives and the people of Kabete God's strength and courage during this trying moment.
Such horrendous executions should not happen in today's Kenya and more so the civilized society that we live in.
I urge the Government and the relevant security agencies to investigate this tragic incident, get to its root cause and bring the culprits to book.
May God Rest the souls of Hon. Muchai and his aides in Peace.

As wenami fertanity we wish to send our condolences to the family of the Hon. Muchai. May the Lord guide and give strength to the entire family.
