We have all had those moments of wishful thinking; if I had a million dollars. We have sung this in our showers, hummed to ourselves when our pockets run empty. Truly, it must be wonderful to be rich. So, if by some luck, you landed yourself a million dollars, what would you buy? Maybe you would buy a car, a house, or perhaps a phone, because apparently some phones do cost a million or more dollars. If indeed you decided to spend your newly acquired millions on a phone, here are the world’s most expensive phones. 

5. Savelli Jardin Secret - $120,000 (about Ksh 10,992,960)

Apparently this phone is for women, but let us be honest, it is for princesses and queens, not merely women. This is actually a collection of phones, the Savelli Jardin Secret Collection, the most expensive one costing a hefty $120,000. This particular version is called Black Insane. It is adorned with 75 white diamonds, black alligator leather, stainless steel, with buttons plated in white gold. If it matters, it comes in different colors.

4. VIPN Black Diamond Smartphone – $300,000 (about Ksh 27,482,400)

You are probably thinking to yourself, or I am anyways; a phone for that much and it is not even a touch screen?! The phone doesn’t really have anything special, 4 megapixel camera, internal memory of 128mb and a 2Gb external SD slot. What makes it special is its body which is made with titan and polycarbonate. Also, the phone is decorated with two diamonds.

3. Peter Alloisin's iPhone 3G Kings Button - $2.41 Million(about Ksh 220,693,141.3 )

We are now into the millions, never thought we would get here did you? The world just has money to throw at things. The phone is made with solid 18 carat yellow gold, rose gold, white gold with 138 cut diamonds. As the name suggest, the button is fit for a king as it is encrusted with a 6.6 carat diamond. Perhaps Alloisin got yelled off by his mother but he has since taken his website offline. 

2. IPhone 4 Diamond Rose Edition– $8 Million (about Ksh 732,591,340.4)

 Of course the Iphone has to be on this list. Expensive is their middle name, in fact expensive should be their tagline. This particular phone is designed with 500 flawless diamonds that total over 100 carat. The ‘genius’ behind this phone is Stuart Hughes, a man obviously swimming in money.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the most expensive phone in the world. It was made for those of us who can sweat money. Created by none other than Stuart Hughes, the phone is designed with 600 flawless diamonds and a black diamond decorating the phone’s home button. Can you imagine walking around Nairobi town with this phone? But what am I talking about, if you can buy a phone with this price tag, you didn’t need to walk, you can just buy people to walk for you.
