Christmas is a wonderful time to spend with family and friends but most importantly share. Most of us will wrap gifts or at least expect a gift from someone but have you ever thought about being a gift to someone (and I am not talking about being a significant other to someone). I am talking about being a gift to someone by spending time with them, having a real conversation, and giving yourself that is your words and time.
Don't make this Christmas all about food, visiting places, and having fun make it about giving yourself as Christ did for us.
Some of us might be caught up at work but make sure that during this season you reach out to someone who maybe in need of some encouragement or simply some moral support;
tell your parents or children that you are thankful for having them in your life.
Tell your siblings that despite having disagreements they are still your rock bed.
Tell your children that you are proud of them.
People may forget the food you prepared for them or the places you've visited but one thing that they'll never forget is the impact that you made in their life using your words; they will be forever grateful.
Be a gift impact someone's life today.
