KPL champions Gor Mahia will benefit with Sh3.2 million from the transfer of their defender David Owino 'Calabar'.
Owino who has declined to talk about the transfer for a long time will join the Zambian Super league to play for Zesco united.
This move will be among the major set backs of Gor Mahia as the team has lost key players this season including Dan Sserunkuma and Geofrey 'Baba' Kizito who have left to Tanzania to search for greener pastures.
Zambia's Zesco united has confirmed the Calabar's transfer deal and even included his name in the provisional list of the players for the CAF champions league.
In the transfer deal Gor Mahia will take home Sh1.4 million while Calabar pockets Ksh 1.8 million
though the move is expected to leave Gor short of defenders.
