Gor Mahia team doctor Dannis Omondi has passed away. Omondi died early Thursday in the Coptic Hospital where he was receiving treatment following breathing problems. According to the team's Deputy Secretary Amina Okecth "Dannis was unconscious when he was rushed to Kenyatta hospital but the hospital facilities lacked oxygen forcing the doctor to transfer him to Coptic hospital."
The club has confirmed the news on its website with fans also taking it to social media, Kogalo die hard fan Jaro Soja wrote on facebook; yes @levis jo go pichagi onge pichano, i will miss sana this man awuoro tho, nani ako na picha yake akivaa cap ya green yawa?
We also pay our tribute as we wish Gor Mahia fraternity a quick recovery following the loss of a main man who helped the club too much.
